Patron’s most popular product was Patron Café, a coffee liqueur tequila. In 2021 the decision was made to stop producing this product leaving the brands fans disappointed and scrambling to buy whatever stocks they could get. Not sure why this decision was ever made but you would have to expect it would be relaunched at some point. The Patron range still consists of Patron Silver, Patron Reposado, Patron Anejo and Patron Platinum.

Patron Tequila was launched in 1989 and is generally considered as the first ultra-premium Tequila. The tequila liquid of Patron is a lot older and was produced by Casa 7 Leguas one of the oldest tequila producers in Mexico.
