Haig is one of the oldest names in Scotch whisky, with the Haig family having a whisky-making heritage stretching back centuries. The Cameronbridge Distillery, where Haig Club Clubman is produced, has been at the centre of Haig's grain whisky production for generations.
Haig Club Clubman was launched in 2016 as a modern expression designed to introduce more people to Single Grain Scotch Whisky. It was developed by Master Distiller and Blender Chris Clark and created in partnership with David Beckham, bringing together Haig's long whisky-making heritage with a contemporary approach to Scotch.
The name Clubman has its own connection to Haig's history. Advertising from the 1920s referred to Haig as "The Clubman's Whisky", inspiring the name of this modern expression.
Haig Club Clubman is matured exclusively in American ex-bourbon casks, allowing the whisky to develop its distinctive notes. The result is a light, creamy and versatile whisky that is particularly well suited to mixing, while remaining enjoyable neat or over ice.
Sweet aromas of toffee, butterscotch and coconut are balanced by fresh hints of crisp green apple and zesty citrus. The palate is light and creamy, bringing together smooth vanilla, sweet caramel and delicate dried fruit with a gentle touch of mint. A clean, smooth finish leaves subtle vanilla, sweet oak and a hint of fresh citrus.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
