Curado was created from the collaboration between the Estes and Camarena families, with the idea of bringing a new dimension to 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila. Rather than simply distilling the agave and bottling the resulting Blanco, the producers developed a proprietary method of infusing the finished tequila with pieces of cooked agave. This process was designed to intensify the natural flavour of agave and create a more distinctive expression.
The tequila begins with a Blanco made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, with the base spirit produced by renowned Master Distiller Carlos Camarena. Traditionally cooked agave is then infused into the tequila. Curado currently works with three different agave varieties for its infusions Blue Weber, Cupreata and Espadín each bringing a different regional character to the finished spirit.
For the Blue Agave expression, the additional Blue Weber Agave is traditionally cooked before being incorporated into the tequila. The result is a spirit that remains a Blanco in style but has a noticeably deeper and more concentrated agave character, with sweet, herbal, savoury and spicy elements working together.
Curado is also closely associated with the legacy of Tomás Estes, an influential figure in the international tequila world and co-creator of both Tequila Ocho and Curado. Carlos Camarena, a third-generation Master Distiller and agronomist, continues the production philosophy centred on agave quality, craftsmanship and sustainable practices.
A ripe, semi-sweet agave aroma introduces notes of white pepper, black olive, green bell pepper and ripe lemon, accompanied by subtle praline and cocoa. The palate is concentrated yet soft and juicy, bringing together cooked agave and beeswax with fresh green-wood character. As the tequila develops, gentle honeyed sweetness gives way to roasted pineapple, salt and white pepper, creating a beautifully balanced finish that is savoury, spicy and persistent.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
