Clase Azul was founded by Arturo Lomelí, with the brand built around combining premium Mexican spirits with the country's traditional arts and craftsmanship. The company describes its creations as an expression of Mexican culture, traditions and artisanal techniques.
Clase Azul Añejo is produced using mature Blue Weber Agave that is traditionally roasted before fermentation and distillation. The resulting tequila is then allowed to mature for 25 months, considerably longer than the minimum ageing period required for an Añejo tequila. This extended maturation gives the spirit its darker colour and contributes layers of oak, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit.
The presentation is an important part of the Clase Azul identity. Añejo is housed in a distinctive ceramic decanter inspired by traditional Mexican Talavera pottery, with each piece contributing to the brand's emphasis on Mexican craftsmanship. The neck is finished with a 24-carat gold charm, giving the bottle a decorative character that continues beyond the tequila itself.
Clase Azul's ceramic work is closely connected to its wider commitment to Mexican craftsmanship. The company's creations incorporate traditional techniques alongside contemporary designs, with the aim of showcasing aspects of Mexican culture through its spirits and objects.
Rich roasted agave aromas combine with warm vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, accompanied by subtle dried-fruit and spice notes. The palate is full and silky, bringing together cooked agave with layers of dried plum, caramel, vanilla and toasted nuts. Gentle cinnamon and clove add warmth as the tequila develops, while mature oak provides structure without completely masking the underlying agave character. The finish is long and warming, leaving lingering impressions of caramel, vanilla, spice and roasted agave.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
