Casa Dragones was founded with a focus on creating premium sipping tequilas that showcase the character of Blue Agave. The brand places particular emphasis on small-batch production and on using the maturation process to add complexity without masking the natural flavour of the agave.
The Añejo Barrel Blend represents a distinctive approach to barrel ageing. Rather than ageing the entire spirit in one type of oak, Casa Dragones matures the tequila separately in new French oak and new American oak. The two resulting styles are then blended together before bottling, creating a more layered flavour profile.
The French oak contributes elegance, structure, light spice and dried-fruit character, while the American oak brings richer and sweeter notes, including macadamia, cacao and a creamy texture. Casa Dragones describes the purpose of the process as complementing rather than overpowering the signature agave character.
The tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave, with the finished spirit designed to be enjoyed slowly rather than used primarily as a cocktail ingredient. This focus on sipping makes the Añejo Barrel Blend particularly well suited to after-dinner occasions or thoughtful food pairings.
Light caramel in colour with bright golden highlights, Casa Dragones Añejo opens with fresh floral aromas alongside ripe pear, fig and toasted almond. The palate develops into a rich combination of macadamia nut, nutmeg and blackberry, with the cooked-agave character remaining at the heart of the spirit. A beautifully rounded finish brings lingering cacao and spicy black pepper, giving the tequila impressive length and complexity.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
