Baileys Irish Cream was created in 1974 in Ireland and became the world's first commercially successful Irish cream liqueur. The idea was to combine two of Ireland's best-known products Irish dairy cream and Irish whiskey into one smooth and indulgent drink.
The original Baileys was developed by a team led by David Gluckman, Hugh Reade Seymour-Davies and Tom Jago. The product was reportedly developed in just a few months, with the creators experimenting with whiskey, cream and chocolate flavours to produce a drink that was both distinctive and easy to enjoy.
Baileys takes its name from Bailey's Hotel in London, although the hotel itself was not involved in the creation of the drink. The apostrophe was later dropped from the brand name, giving the familiar Baileys spelling.
Rich cream and sweet vanilla aromas lead into a silky, indulgent palate filled with smooth chocolate, caramel and soft coffee flavours. The Irish whiskey adds gentle warmth and subtle oak beneath the creamy sweetness, while hints of cocoa and vanilla give the liqueur its unmistakably luxurious character. A velvety texture carries the flavours into a long, smooth finish of chocolate cream, vanilla and gently warming whiskey.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
