818 Tequila was founded by Kendall Jenner and takes its name from the 818 telephone area code associated with the San Fernando Valley in California. The brand works with local, family-owned farms and a distillery partner in Jalisco, Mexico, with an emphasis on traditional tequila-making techniques and responsible production.
The tequila begins with carefully selected Blue Weber Agave from the Los Valles region of Jalisco. The agave is allowed to mature for approximately six to seven years before harvesting. Skilled jimadores hand-harvest the plants, after which the agave hearts are cooked in traditional ovens for more than 30 hours.
Following cooking, the agave is crushed using traditional stone tahona wheels. The extracted juice is naturally fermented before being distilled twice in hand-built copper alembic pot stills. The resulting tequila is then matured in both French and American oak, where it develops the vanilla, caramel, toasted-nut and spice characteristics that define 818 Añejo.
The brand entered a new chapter in 2026, when Sazerac made a strategic financial investment in 818 Tequila and became its exclusive U.S. sales and distribution partner. The financial terms and exact ownership percentage were not publicly disclosed, so it is more accurate to describe 818 as a Kendall Jenner-founded brand with Sazerac as an investor and U.S. distribution partner, rather than stating that either party wholly
Rich and inviting, 818 Añejo opens with aromas of sweet cooked agave, caramel and vanilla, accompanied by toasted nuts, orange peel, cacao and soft spices. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, bringing together creamy vanilla, sweet agave and caramel with flavours of toasted pecans and almonds. Cinnamon and gentle spice add warmth and complexity, while the rich texture carries through to an exceptionally long, silky finish with lingering oak and sweet caramel.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
