1800 Tequila has its roots in a family with 10 generations of tequila-making heritage in Mexico. The brand's name refers to the period when tequila began gaining wider recognition beyond its origins in Jalisco, while the family's traditional approach to tequila production remains central to the brand today.
The tequila begins with mature Blue Weber Agave grown in Jalisco. The plants typically take around six to eight years to reach maturity, allowing the piñas to develop the sugars and minerals needed for quality tequila. They are harvested by hand by skilled jimadores, who remove the leaves to reveal the agave heart.
For 1800's core expressions, the agave piñas are traditionally slow-cooked in masonry ovens for approximately 36–40 hours. The cooked agave is then milled to extract its sweet liquid, which is fermented in closed stainless-steel tanks using the producer's own propagated yeast.
1800 Silver is double-distilled in copper pot stills and made using only three core ingredients: 100% Blue Weber Agave, yeast and water. Selected white tequilas are blended to provide additional balance, smoothness and character before the finished spirit is bottled.
Bright and inviting, 1800 Silver offers aromas of fresh fruit, cooked agave and subtle peppery spice. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with sweet fruit flavours balanced by roasted agave and gentle spice. Hints of pepper add definition without overpowering the spirit, while the clean, refreshing character carries through to a medium-length finish with a pleasant fruity and peppery fade.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
