Pascal Jolivet founded his wine house in 1987 in Sancerre, building a reputation for wines that express the purity and individuality of the Loire Valley's distinctive terroirs. While Sancerre is internationally famous for Sauvignon Blanc, the appellation also has a long-established tradition of producing elegant red wines from Pinot Noir.
Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Rouge is an elegant and refined red wine from the Loire Valley, showcasing the lighter, more delicate side of French Pinot Noir. Produced by the renowned Pascal Jolivet estate, this wine comes from the Sancerre appellation, where Pinot Noir thrives in the region's cool continental climate and limestone-rich soils. Bright red fruit, subtle spice and earthy complexity combine with fine tannins and refreshing acidity, creating a graceful red wine that is beautifully suited to lighter dishes and can be enjoyed slightly chilled.
A delicate and fragrant nose reveals aromas of ripe red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, accompanied by subtle violet and gentle earthy notes. The palate is fresh and elegant, with flavours of redcurrant, cranberry and juicy cherry supported by fine, silky tannins. A touch of pepper and subtle savoury complexity adds depth without overpowering the fruit, while vibrant acidity keeps the wine lively and precise. The finish is clean and graceful, with lingering red berries, spice and a delicate mineral character.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
