Pascal Jolivet founded his eponymous wine house in 1987, establishing it in Sancerre in the Loire Valley. Although the estate began relatively recently compared with some of France's historic domaines, Pascal Jolivet quickly developed a reputation for producing elegant wines that emphasise purity, freshness and the character of their vineyards.
The estate's vineyards extend across some of the most recognised terroirs of Sancerre, with the combination of limestone, flint and clay-rich soils contributing different characteristics to the wines. These soils are particularly important in understanding Sancerre, as they influence drainage, mineral expression and the way the vines develop throughout the growing season.
Pascal Jolivet follows a relatively gentle approach to winemaking, with an emphasis on allowing the natural character of the Sauvignon Blanc and its terroir to shine through. The grapes are carefully pressed before fermentation at controlled temperatures, helping preserve their fresh aromas and delicate fruit character.
Delicate aromas of citrus blossom, grapefruit and white flowers mingle with notes of fresh pear and ripe peach, creating an elegant and inviting bouquet. The palate is crisp and finely textured, revealing vibrant lemon, grapefruit and green apple alongside subtle white-fruit flavours. A distinctive mineral character adds depth and precision, while refreshing acidity keeps the wine lively and focused. The finish is long and clean, with lingering citrus, mineral and delicate herbal notes.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
