Famille Perrin is one of the Rhône Valley's most respected wine families, with a winemaking history stretching back several generations. The family is particularly associated with the Southern Rhône and is known for producing wines that place a strong emphasis on terroir, traditional winemaking and sustainable vineyard practices.

Cairanne is situated in the Southern Rhône, close to the better-known appellations of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. The area benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate, with plenty of sunshine helping the grapes reach full ripeness, while the cooling influence of the Mistral wind helps preserve freshness and aromatic character.

The Peyre Blanche cuvée showcases the traditional Rhône approach of blending several grape varieties. Grenache contributes ripe fruit and warmth, Syrah brings colour, spice and structure, while Mourvèdre adds depth and savoury complexity. Together they create a wine that is generous and approachable in its youth but also has the structure to develop further with bottle age.

Rich and inviting, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, red cherries and plums, intertwined with fragrant Provençal herbs and delicate peppery spice. On the palate, generous dark fruit flavours are complemented by hints of liquorice, violets and subtle earthy complexity, while supple tannins provide structure without overpowering the fruit. A refreshing streak of acidity keeps the wine lively and balanced, leading to a long, smooth finish with lingering berry fruit, spice and savoury Rhône character.
