Ruinart Brut Champagne comes from one of the most historic and prestigious champagne houses in the world, and its story is deeply tied to the origins of Champagne itself. Heritage & Origins The house of Ruinart was founded in 1729, making it the oldest established Champagne house. It was inspired by the vision of Dom Thierry Ruinart, a Benedictine monk who recognised the growing popularity of sparkling wine long before it became widely celebrated.
Ruinart was among the first producers to ship champagne in bottles, helping transform it into a luxury product across Europe. By the 18th century, the house was already exporting to royal courts and elite clientele. Its wines quickly became associated with refinement and French art de vivre.
One of Ruinart’s most distinctive features is its network of ancient chalk cellars, known as the Crayères of Reims. These underground galleries date back to the Roman era. They provide ideal ageing conditions with constant temperature and humidity. Today, they are recognised as part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ruinart is renowned for its focus on Chardonnay, which gives wines like Ruinart Brut their characteristic freshness, elegance, and aromatic purity. Radiant in the glass with a luminous golden hue, it releases a delicate stream of fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and inviting, unveiling notes of crisp orchard fruits, white flowers, and subtle hints of brioche. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced vibrant yet silky, with layers of ripe pear, golden apple, and a whisper of toasted almond, finishing with a clean, refreshing finesse.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
