Bollinger La Grande Année is a vintage rose style champagne and forms part of our extensive Champagne range.
As stories go, Madame Bollinger only agreed to a Bollinger rosé under one condition, it had to be extraordinary, and that is how La Grande Année Rosé was born: the unique blend between a great vintage champagne and a red wine from a unique plot, the legendary Côte aux Enfants. To produce a red wine of such high quality in the champagne region is a challenge: a rare treat, a true Bollinger.
Bollinger Champagne was founded in 1829 by Paul Renaudin and Jacques Bollinger in the small town of Ay, where it remains today as one of the last independent champagne houses’, and it is still run by members of the Bollinger family. Bollinger is fondly referred to as ‘Bolly’, and is renowned for producing a powerful, complex and sophisticated style of Champagne.
Bollinger La Grande Année Rosé is a pale pink with coral tint, aromas of red currants and dried flowers and a varied delicate palate that has sweet plum and summer freshness.
Bollinger La Grande Année is available on next day delivery with wooden gift box and gift-wrapping options.
