818 Tequila was founded by Kendall Jenner and launched in 2021, with the brand named after the 818 telephone area code associated with the San Fernando Valley in California. From the beginning, the aim was to create a modern tequila brand while maintaining traditional production methods in Jalisco, Mexico.
818 Tequila is produced at a family-owned and operated distillery in Jalisco, using traditional techniques and 100% Blue Weber Agave. The brand has developed a range that includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and its ultra-premium Eight Reserve expression.
In April 2026, 818 entered an important new chapter when Sazerac made a strategic financial investment in the brand and entered into an exclusive U.S. sales and distribution partnership. The financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. The partnership gives 818 access to Sazerac's extensive distribution and brand-building capabilities while Kendall Jenner continues as the founder and remains closely involved with the brand.
Eight Reserve represents the most luxurious expression in the 818 range. It is a carefully blended combination of Añejo and Extra Añejo tequilas, with some components aged for up to eight years in French and American oak. This extended maturation gives the spirit its exceptionally smooth texture and complex layers of vanilla, dried fruit, spice, toasted oak and praline.
The presentation reflects the premium nature of the tequila, with Eight Reserve presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic decanter crafted by Mexican artisans. The combination of extended oak ageing, traditional production and striking presentation makes Eight Reserve the flagship expression of the 818 range.
Luxuriously aromatic, Eight Reserve opens with layers of vanilla, clove and cinnamon alongside toasted nuts, honey, orange peel and dark cherry. The palate is rich and beautifully rounded, with cooked agave complemented by creamy vanilla, warm cinnamon, dried berries and praline. Its full body is balanced by an exceptionally smooth texture, while the long, elegant finish leaves lingering notes of ripe fruit, gentle spice and toasted oak.

We treat all personalised bottles individually, taking our time and experience to set out your message to create the most impactful bottle decoration possible. This may include increase the size of some fonts within the message to pay particular focus on key lines or phrases, spacing message over extra lines and removing unnecessary punctuation.
Yes, all the lines of messages will be centred.
If you can type it, we can engrave it! When using alternative languages it may be neccessary for us to alter the font to ensure all characters are supported, in these cases we use the closest style font to your original selection.
Unfortunatley we are unable to engrave emoji's or picture characters. Where these are added the character will be removed from your message.
We specially select the fonts we use. Once a bottle has been engraved the cut glass is then infilled with a special decorative silver paste. These fonts ensure we provide the optimum width and depth during the engraving process to creat maximum visibility once infilled.
The fonts we currently use are: Lucida Calligraphy, Lucida Handwriting, Verdana and Segoe Print.
